Spinal Cord Stimulator problems?

I have now had my spinal cord stimulator fitted but over the ending day or 2 the stimulation has moved into my back, away from the leg where on earth the pain is. Has anyone had this problem, and did it get sorted by reprogramming the entrench or by surgery?

Answers:    Hi hun
If the stim has stopped working where it needs to be, I would do this:

i own the advanced bionics stimulator, when I have problems, I do this:
1. fully recharge

2. lay down and try and move the programs my self- I have 4 I can use.

3. contact the dr - If after trying to adjust yourself it doesnt work, I will contact him-- the Dr does send me for an xray to see of the lead have moved

4. contact the programmer to see if reprogramming helps.

There are so many unknowns, but try these for a few days.
One piece you need to remember, DONT GO BACK TO TAKING A LOT OF EXTRA MEDS.. that is no good for you!

I unquestionably feel in your case you want to call the dr. something is not right and needs to be changed -- the sooner the better!

keep contained by touch
awwh u poor thing u ok
