SPINAL fusion?
GEDAY THERE PEOPLE,3 MONTHS AGO I HAD A SPINAL FUSION L4 L5/S1 IM INTERESTED TO HEAR FROM OTHERS THAT HAVE ALLSO HAD FUSIONS AND TO HEAR ABOUT RECOVERY ,PAINS,TWEEKS AND OTHER THINGS TO EXPECT
Answers: Hello, I had spinal fusion in Dec 2005, I had disks L3-S1 fused (3 discs) and although I no longer hold any spasms I'm still having pretty extensive pain as well as numbness surrounded by one leg & foot. Would I do it over again, I most definetly would because those muscle spasms were dibilitating and with that alone I consider it a success. Good luck and if you enjoy any more questions feel free to contact me.
i had this surgery 2 months ago!
I'm 14. my retrieval has been slow, but i am so glad i had it done. i have something called spondylolisthesis. i had to miss school for a month, and i am still currently going to arts school part-time. my surgeons where great, and i hope to play tennis in the spring if i am allowed to. i still enjoy minor pain in my right leg, but my surgeon said that it should gradually turn away with time. i am wearing a light-weight brace right now. it is suppose to come off within 3 weeks, and i cant wait!
enough of me, how is your recovery coming?
why did u hold the surgery?
what is ur pain like now?
i enjoy never talked to anyone who is going through anything similar as me.
