Spinal fusion recouping time?
I am going to have a spinal fusion of Lumbar 4-5 in 2 weeks (is that by your tailbone?). I speak with my neuro roughly speaking this in a week. I'm just going crazy though right now as i enjoy NO IDEA of what this entails aside from them putting a metal rod in my back. I hold also recently have had 2 total hip replacements and one knees replacement which still hurt and make it hard to walk. I'm wondering what the retrieval time would be for this type of surgery. I have a cyst that was removed once this year (which came put money on, that is the reason for the fusion). I'm just creeping out a bit about how much pain I will be in (scale of 1-10) and if reclamation time will be more lengthy and painful because of the other joint replacements. Any answers will be tremendously appreciated! Thanks surrounded by advance!
