Spinal Fusion? Should I do It Im upset . Any comments or proposal would Be compassionate (Cervical)?

Scheduled in 3 weeks And im Scared

Answers:    I would only recommend going through with it if you are have such severe pain that you cannot manage to do your daily undertakings without a lot of difficulty or if there is a situation where on earth the disc is pushing on the spinal cord. The surgery will permanently fuse those segments and thus other segments can become hyper-mobile (too much motion) to take home up for the lost motion in the fused segment. This can cause other problems down the road.
Approach it intelligently. Learn about the benefits of have the operation, success rate etc.Ask if there are other alternative therapies you could try.Remember, everything you do to your body have a benefit/consequence.Ask if this will cause other spinal problems later on.When your in misery its hard to think straight.Good luck. .
