Spinal fusion surgery?

can anyone who has had this surgery please let me know if it is worthwhile I'm solely 21
if your going to do it on a specialist hospital here in US..yes its worth it...why? one answer..your still 21..you have a lot of years ahead of you and you can do so much of your vivacity with that.. good luck Fusing your back puts stress on the top and below the fusion. The vertebrae hold to work harder on the top and bottom of the fusion. You will lose mobility in the area. 30% of people that achieve back surgery, have relief.
You are really youthful and If it is really necessary, get it. I have 6 herniated disks and a fractured vertebrae from a car accident and my doctor wanted me to catch a fusion and the back doctor's (3 of them) said I would be worse than I am now. Just take alot of misery medicine and ice my back alot. I also wear a brace.
Get a second and/or third inference before you go through with it, approaching I did.
i had spinal fusion about 3 weeks ago i am still having alot of hindmost pain i am only 15 there is one entry i can tell you is if you wait more things will go wrong next to your back. i would say have the surgery lately make sure you doc will give meds after the surgery and remember there are alot of risks
