Spinal fusion?relieve!!?
hi! I'm 14 yr old and had a lumbar spinal fusion done 2 weeks ago(for spondylolitheisis). i am so bored! I'm not in totally much pain, and I'm not returning to school for 2-4 more weeks(from the pain meds). does any1 hold anything i can do. i see a tutor and pt every other day. i feel so much better than i did before the fusion(had extreme leg pain) so i have a feeling so much better right now. the surgery took 13 hours(my surgeon wanted to do a great job so i will never enjoy to remember this in the future-and i thank him for that) please what can i do?!!(i am able to walk, but i cant read for to long b/c i will receive a headache)

If you are consciousness so good, then don't get antsy and unfasten all the work your doctor did. Don't try to do too much or move around a lot. It will take months for your body to make well. If you get impatient now at 14, you will be sorry when you are 35 and elder.
