Spinal infections/problems from backbone surface piercing? Leg Numbness?
I've had a lower back surface piercing, pierced with a proper staple shaped hotel, for over a year now with no complications. Never red or sore, sensitive occasionally but never anything bothersome. Lately i've been have numbness in my right thigh (only right one) on the right side. Its sometimes a lot more noticeable, other times don't make out it at all. (and also possibly related lower back pain, amazingly little & only randomnly). I looked up information on webmd which lists several possibilities for leg numbness that all traffic with the spine. I was wondering if anyone had any input on the leg issues or my vertebrae piercing and any relations?
Unlikely. Spinal/Back piercings don't actually affect the nervous system. Unless it's infected, it probably isn't the cause.
