Spinal Injury cause dizziness?

A few months ago I was in an car coincidence and suffered from severe whiplash.I started getting cronic headaches and now I suffer from headaches and diziness adjectives day almost everyday.Im missing work and I feel horrible because I live 1 hour away from my work and I can't drive with my chief spinning.I have had Xrays that showed my spine out of line bit & I am programmed for a CT Scan in 1 week. My doctor keeps giving me anti-anxiety pills over and over & I cant take them because they label me feel sick & he wont listen to me when I say I cant take them.

Is in that anything I can do to relieve my dizziness so I can get back to work regularly? I feel horrible for takingn so much time past its sell-by date work,but I dont want to risk another car accident from driving while dizzy.
