Spinal Pain After Spinal for CSection?
Eight weeks ago I had a spinal to deliver my daughter via csection. It took 30 minutes and numerous pokes for the doctor to give me the spinal. Since then I own had severe pain in my spine and muscles from the injection site downward. My primary docotr told me to bear ibuprofen for a week and it will go away (that the area is just inflamed.) However, I grain like I have damaged nerves. This have effected my ability to care for my children! Anyone hold this happen to them? Any advice?
If it has be 8 weeks you should be better by now!
You need to go to a Neurologist or Neurosurgeon. You may necessitate to get your primary MD to recommend one for you.
Request your records from the hospital where you have your
C-section. Let the Neurosurgeon see them but take the records with you when you go away. (This is legal. You have every right to see your own records).
Find out the "cause" of your pain. You may enjoy a law suit. I don't recommend suing a doctor, but if the doctor did something wrong then he/she is liable for it.
It's a very touchy situation and doctors surrounded by the same town will not (normally) testify against another doctor in the same town so don't mention the word "sue" to another doctor. Just win the facts and then, if you think it's necessary, telephone call a "malpractice" attorney for advice on what to do. They give free consultations.
