Spinal Pain Post Surgery?

My Girl Friend had a spinal tumor removed just short of a year ago. She is both strong and stubborn so unfortunately she have never really complained about the pain until now (when its gotten too unpromising to bare).

I simply need advice on how to go around helping or setting things right.
Here is the little I know or have tried.

-She is military so the operation was performed on Base.
-The doctor refuse post surgery physical therapy,... This to me seems outrageous and more than likely the source of the trouble.
-She is currently seeing a chiropractor who can't seem to be to offer any advice or explanation of the chronic pain.
-She have another MRI which showed no regrowth of the tumor.
-When discussing her pain with the Doctors, they cannot come up with an explanation and simply mitt out pain meds.

What do you say when the Doctors and Chiropractors can't answer the questions?

I appreciate any and adjectives answers. Just hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Answers:    First of all lose the chiropractor,, they will do nothing but hurt her worse,, budge off base for another opinion.

When one runs contained by to a situation where the doctors and chiropractors can't answer the questions you go somewhere to find another opinion such as to spinal specialists off base.
