Spinal thump side effects?
I know it's normal to have headaches after have the spinal tap, I've had it done last tuesday. My headache are worse than ever right now, they're so severe I can barely concentrate on anything other than the throbbing. I am also a college student and am falling behind in class because I am unable to rate attention due to the pain...what can I do, or should I do?
when spinal taps are performed fluid is lost, this is mind spinal fluid. if nothing helps with your misery you need to go in and notify them your symptonms, you will most likley need a blood patch, it will restore loss fluid and the pain should disappear rather without delay. good luck. If you have a pain clinic contained by the area i would try there first, otherwise go to the ER. ably i have never had a spinal tap. but if your spasm is getting worse i would call your doctor, even the nurse who answers the phone would probably know if your case is normal or not. Maybe some anguish killers would help out as well.
