Spinal Stenosis?

Is spinal stenosis hereditary? My mum has it and i think i've be having symptoms recently. I've suffered from back pains for a few years, and e, only just i've been getting tingling sensations in my legs, and when i walk i go and get a dull ache, like cramp in my calves which go when i bend forwards, and the same ache in the tops of my legs when i sit for a long time. my mum be explaining to me the other day how her legs feel and she said they just dont quality "right", which is how mine feel. does anyone know if i might have it?

Answers:    Anything is possible and a congenitally narrow spinal waterway may run in your family. This may not be the only problem however and you may enjoy acquired arthritis, or herniated discs which can also narrow the canal. It is adjectives guesswork until you get your MRI.
