Spinal hit?

tomorrow i'm having a spinal tap done and would like to know who have had one and how was it? i'm sure it's not that bad, i only don't care much for what i have read about what they do.

Answers:    Make sure you lay still. It will be over formerly you know it. You will feel a stick, and some pressure. Try to think of things that are pleasant to you. Again, It will be over before you know it.
GOOD LUCK and rob care!
You really shouldn't have asked this question...it is a short time ago going to make you more nervous.

no B.S. it hurts! and it hurts BAD! i had one as a child and i be so scarred by it that when i gave birth to my daughter 20 years later i be crying harder about getting the epidural b/c it reminded me of the spinal tap.

but you'll do fine I'm sure.:) GOOD LUCK!
I had one 20 years ago. It is not fun, it hurts but it is over pretty efficiently and it is survivable. The first stick is to numb you up a bit. After that it is just a lot of pressure on your back. I agree near the advice to stay very still, think pleasant thoughts and remember that copious other people have survived this and you will too.

Good luck.
