Spinal hit / LP / lumbar puncture headache??

I had a spinal tap done 2 weeks ago, after 1 week I think I've developed the spinal headache. I've have the headache for almost a week now and its not getting better. Could it still go away on its own or will I have need of a blood patch? I want to avoid it if I can, I've beed laying down for about a week now. Is it possible it will resolve on its own? Thank you

Answers:    You should agree to your doctor know about this. And next time, they can use a different kind of plunger. Standard hypodermic needles are not the best for lumbar puncture.
Go to the doctor right away. I know someone who had this happen and you really need to see the doctor. Now.
