Stem Cells for broken spinal cords?
i was looking thtough google today becuse my girl friends dad is paralyzed from the hips down . he wa sin a car acident and broke his spianal cord . any way i wa slooking through google to see if theres a cure ( i know it sounds stupid) and i come across Stem cells . My girl friends dream is to see ehr dad stand up and walk ebcuse shes never seen him stand up . and im wondering if any one know if stem cells can help rebuild near nerv system . (it claims its posible ) i just want to know if anyone had had expariance? and how much did it cost? gratefulness :D w/b

Also, in that is a chance that the undifferentiated cell with become like the defective cell - especially if the 'old' cell be damaged by a virus. It could work, though, in the not too distant future.
This research is still surrounded by it infancy, but it does show promise as being something that can eventually be used to replace damaged nerves.
