actually any king of nerve blocker or something they used during anesthesia can really mess you up. i have my 5 surgeries at a local clinic and i be under for all of them. my last surgery be at a larger hospital out of town.( i had a total reconstruction of my throat) I don't know if i blame the anesthesia for this or fibro fog. but my memory is shot all to hell! ask you Dr or aneshesiaist what liberal of meds are they going to use for surgery. Make sure you tell them NO ketamine. that is my problem. the ketamine killed my memory and this is a intensely disturbing situation to family and friends. i can go watch a movie at the theater and afterwards by the next day i have totally forgotten that i even vanished the house. suckage! good luck with whatevert you do !
