Osteoporosis is thinning of the bones and this condition tend to run in families, but it is also associated with poor diet, low Vitamin D level, and low calcium intake. Scoliosis runs in my house. I was born with curvature of the spine although it wasn't too noticeable to other folks but taking gym in school was such a problem. My mother kept recounting me to stand up straight and my brother too. We both had this problem. It started being noticeable when we be teenagers. Have to sleep with a pillow between my knees.
