What happen when within is lay waste to to spinal cord and nerves that exit the thoracic vertebrae?
Answers: It depends on the extent of the damage. Minor damage would result in numbness and tingling - mostly surrounded by the rib cage and abdomen, since this is area served by the thoracic spinal nerves. Severe destruction would lead to problems with the internal organs and possibly paraplegia (paralysis of the lower limbs) if the spinal cord itself were worn out to the extent that nerve impulses could not reach the lumbar and sacral spine.
Paralyzing below the chest, sometimes resulting surrounded by a paralyzed diaphragm. Um.. bad things. Seriously, it can't be good. I'd ask a doctor rather than these flunkies on helpde.com. I'd bet not a soul here knows!
