What is a spinal infection?
Our pastor, a 56-year old man (and heavy smoker) has a spinal infection and is hospitalized. The church said "it's serious" and that's adjectives they're telling us. What's really going on? Is it a life threatening thing? Can he rest 100%
It is, of course, an infection in his spine (backbone). The church is being discreet just about what the actual situation is and you must respect that. There's nobody here who could possibly even guess what's happening.
Assuming that it's a treatable infection and assuming that your pastor is in otherwise reasonably devout health, then antibiotic treatment could provide a cure; but there is never a guarantee nearly this. Keep your pastor in your prayers.
