Whats the etiology of spinal cord injury during swoiming ? is it possible after trauma by other sweemers?

If you are talking about swimming, then the impose of it is usually when you are diving into shallow ends and your neck hits either the end of the pool or even the side of the pool.

When that happen, the spinal cord is usually cut and there for paralysis follows. There are times that the injury might not be a lot but moving the body can also effect the spinal cord and snapping it.
So it all depends on what really happen and so forth.
