It is in the center of your back just below your belt flash on a guy. It is between the lumbar spine and the sacral spine. Each of these have five segments numbered 1 thru 5. The L5-S1 stratum is the space that connects the lumbar spine to the sacral spine. below the waist the lower back to the buttocks right before the gluteal crease hope i made it clear
